With the rapid development of infrastructure projects, the demand for high-quality aggregates has increased significantly. Dolomite, known for its moderate hardness, chemical stability and good crushing properties, is widely used in road construction, concrete production and foundation engineering. To meet the needs of highway projects, a customer in Shandong, China partnered with MiningAlliance to build a 450 t/h dolomite crushing plant.
From site survey and engineering design to equipment manufacturing and commissioning, the entire project was completed by MiningAlliance. The production line now operates smoothly, delivering premium aggregates for major construction projects in the region.
The client is a major aggregate supplier for highway construction. Their previous equipment could no longer meet new project requirements. They required:

This wet-processing production line uses a gravity-assisted layout where materials move naturally down the slope. Key steps:
- F5X Vibrating Feeder → evenly feeding raw dolomite
- C6X Jaw Crusher → primary crushing
- HPT Multi-Cylinder Hydraulic Cone Crusher → secondary crushing
- S5X Vibrating Screen → multi-stage classification
- Return materials re-enter cone crusher forming a closed loop
- VSI6X Sand Maker for fine sand production when needed
- SL Linear Screen to classify final products
This project is designed to supply high-quality dolomite aggregates and manufactured sand for highway construction. The final product has a well-graded particle size distribution and stable quality, suitable for road base layers, concrete batching plants and other major infrastructure projects.
